Polyester Yarns

Polymer in the melted form from polycondensation section is cooled in polymer cooler, filtered and after pressure boosting it is distributed to the spinning manifolds and then to the spinning positions. The polyester melt from spinning position is extruded through spinnerets by variable speed driven spinning pumps. The extruded filaments are cooled by precisely controlled conditioned and filtered air in quench chamber. The filaments are then passed through the finish application system. The filaments are taken on take up winders and finally wound on bobbins. The yarn produced is extremely fine and the unit of fineness is denier. The spinnerets and spinning manifold are jacketed and heated with dowtherm vapour.

 

  • Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn - (Polyester POY)
    One of the common uses of POY includes the manufacturing of Drawn Texture Yarn or DTY. Draw Textured Yarn is used for the manufacturing of hosiery items, fishing nets, ropes, and high tenacity DTY is used for producing sewing thread, tyre cord etc. DTY is available in semi dull, Full Dull and bright DTY finishes.
  • Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn - (Polyester FDY)
    The manufacturing process of Fully Drawn Yarn is a lot similar to Polyester POY. The only difference is that the production of FDY is conducted at a higher speed. During the process, all the critical aspects such as tenacity, elongation, Uster variation and boiling water shrinkage are monitored. By equipping state of the art technology, our manufacturing partners ensure dye consistency and efficient spinning processes. FDY is commonly used for the manufacturing of denim, furnishings, towel fabrics and fashionable garments. It is available in Semi-dull (SD), Full Dull (FD), Bright (BR), Cationic and ECDP finishes.
  • Polyester Drawn Textured Yarn - (Polyester DTY)
    Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY) is obtained from Polyester POY and is widely used for weaving and knitting. The multifilament yarn has a soft cottony feel and high durability. As the name suggests it is made by drawing and texturizing the POY. Furnishings, upholstery, bags, innerwear, skin-clinging outfits, etc are commonly manufactured using DTY. Our manufacturing partners utilize the latest high-speed draw texturizing technology and quality anti-static lubricating oils during the process. Timely measures to ensure consistency and superior dying quality are taken from our end.
  • Polyester High Tenacity Yarn
    As the name suggests, Polyester High Tenacity Yarn is used for high-performance applications, where Tenacity is an essential factor. Depending on the area of application, High Tenacity Yarn is available in variants like normal shrinkage, low shrinkage, and super low shrinkage. The high tenacity yarn has high durability, toughness and chemical resistance that can survive extreme weather conditions. This category of Yarn is mostly preferred for industrial fabrics, especially airbag fabrics.
  • Air Covered Yarn
    The manufacturing of air-covered yarns is an efficient production process and our manufacturing partners strive to make it all the more cost effective. In this process, the elastane component intermingles with a filament yarn using compressed air and it is wound straight onto the yarn spool. Air-covered yarns with their powdery look and exceptional softness are best used for socks and seamless articles.
  • Polyester Mono Yarn
    Mono Filament Yarn can be made by direct spinning or by splitting Mother Yarn. Because of its good resistance to fuel and chemicals this type of monofilaments is widely used in the production of filter fabrics for automotive use. A polyester Mono filament yarn is used in knitting and weaving. Mono yarn is available as Semi Dull, Bright & also in Dope Dyed colors.
